Hey Sandy!
Check out this story, it’ll give you warm fuzzies in your belly. It’s about a dog in Afghanistan who the British troops loved so much that they are getting together to take him back to the UK!

Hi Sandy,
Alecs and I went to go visit Honey (Hawaii) a couple of weekends ago, and she has gotten so big! We took her mama, Canela, to go have a playdate with her, and she’s bigger than Canela. They were SO happy to see each other, and played for an hour straight, both of them were so pooped but neither wanted to give up playing first. It was very cute, and Honey is doing so well in her home. She has doggie friends all over the neighborhood, she even has a boyfriend across the street, his name is Delaney and he’s a standard poodle. Honey even got Christmas gifts from other dogs in the neighborhood over the holidays
)
We took lots of photos during their playdate, but here are the best ones:

Jennie!
I just saw this new ad for Taco Bell… this woman lost 54pounds eating Taco Bell.
http://www.drivethrudiet.com/christinesstory
She said she wanted to lose weight, but not cut out fast food out of her life. The last time I was on a diet of Taco Bell, it fought me on the way out.
Kind of seems like a good idea though. Although there’s probably some give and take. I get the feeling I could lose weight but I’d gain teenage acne. Can’t have everything I guess. What do you think? What about an In n’ Out diet? You could be the face of In n’ Out. Picture it now!
Sandy
A diet on fast food???!!! Get-out! (I’m being like Elaine on Seinfeld) Hmmm, I’m interested……I could definitely do an In N Out diet, just tell me where to sign.
HAPPY NEW YEARRRRRRRR!!!
Hey Resolution Buddy,
I just read this article in CNN about getting motivated.
http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/12/29/motivation.new.years.resolutions/index.html
I thought you would be interested. I think it’s got some good points. We, the proverbial ‘we’, always come up with resolutions for the new year. And it talks about how to motivate yourself to do them: Baby steps, resolution buddies, etc. I’ve recruited you as my resolution buddy. I can be your east coast resolution buddy. I’m still coming up with some resolutions. Have you come up with any yet? So far mine include getting into shape… for competitive food competitions. That’s about it.
Sandy
Happy New Year! I’ll definitely be your Resolution Buddy, I think things like that really work. Because my friend Frances, her and her roomie were workout buddies. They made a calendar and hung it on the wall, then they said they had to each go to the gym at least 15 times a month. They both had specific colored stickers to mark the days they went, and they kept each other accountable. At the end of the month, if they went to the gym at least 15 times they got to get themselves a treat of any kind, whether it was ice cream, new dress, etc. We could do that, but with our resolutions! I have the typical resolutions so far, like be more patient and such, but the one I want to work on the most is probably to work on my business a little each day, to not be so scared of maintaining my website. Because I’ve come to realize that I have learned a lot and can do a lot with my business and website, but I get….so….scared….bah!
Hey Boss,
You know how we love Costco hotdogs and chicken bakes? Or just food in general, especially if it comes from Costco. I was talking to Frank the other day and he told me in Taiwan they have bacon hamburgers on the foodcourt menu in Costco, as well as Peking duck pizza!!! He sent me a photo of the pizza
And I found a photo of the bacon hamburger via Rinux
And for the hamburger, you can put all kinds of condiments on it too, just like the hotdogs.
I think we need Peking duck pizza as well as a bacon hamburger in the Costcos over here!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Jennie
Umm… yes! I want a Peking Duck slice… that sounds kind of delicious. I think Costcos here should have that. Dammit! Oh man, now that the costco in Manhattan is so close to me and Patrick, we feast on under $10 bucks. I always get my chicken bake and a churro and Patrick gets the $1.50 hot dog and beverage combo. Gotta love that.
Now to figure out where she is stashing my pantaloons…
-Jennie
You can’t prove that I’ve ever stolen any of your unmentionables. Jelly bean looks so cute and shifty in those photos.
Hey Jennie,
In case you’re having neck probs… here is a possible solution to what ails ya. And you’re welcome!
This is quite a contraption…I liked my cousin’s comment about what would happen if someone on the other side opened the door? Things to ponder….
Jennie,
So, Sensei wanted to record me doing kata and he posted one on his website www.genyukan.com or you can view on youtube:

AHAHAHAH
Sandy, you are quite the toughie in this video, you remind me of someone….his first name starts with Daniel and ends with Laruso. Are you moving back to Reseda anytime soon? Haha, good stuff!
So this post is attributed to Patrick’s dad who originally sent this link. There is a way to cut your bagel so that it ends up in two linked halves. And because of this, there is more surface area to put cream cheese on… and you know how much I like my cream cheese… So, if you’re interested in a new way to dissect your bagel, enjoy!
http://www.georgehart.com/bagel/bagel.html
I have yet to try it myself… I already put too much cream cheese on my bagel. Don’t know if I really need the extra surface area… if you know what I mean! And I think you do.
Sandy
Haha, love it! One can never have too much cream cheese and bagel, spread it on thick, don’t be bashful now…
